Who are we?

The Town Centre Surgery is located at the heart of Luton:

Our dedicated staff are committed to providing high-quality healthcare advice and a family friendly service.

We offer GP appointments from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to ask our helpful reception staff.

In addition, there is an Urgent Treatment Centre at the location, which is open 7 days a week. The UTC manages a wide range of minor illnesses and minor injuries each day.

Where are we located?

The practice reception provides easy wheelchair and pushchair access.

It is located on the second floor whilst the reception on the ground floor is solely for the use of Urgent Treatment Centre patients.

We also share our main reception with the Out of Hours service. Appointments for this service can only be booked by calling NHS 111.

How do I register as a patient?

We are currently accepting new patients. If you would like to register, please come into the practice and ask for a registration pack. This contains:

  • a registration form
  • a new patient questionnaire
  • a consent form for access to Enhanced Summary Care Records (see below)
  • and an information sheet.

You do not need proof of address to register. Your registration will be completed within two weeks of receipt, after which you will receive a welcome pack, which contains useful information about the practice. You will also be offered an appointment with our Healthcare Assistant for a new patient health check.

About HUC

The Town Centre Surgery and Urgent Treatment Centre are managed by HUC, a not-for-profit Social Enterprise which also provides NHS 111, Out of Hours and Primary Care services across Luton and Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and West Essex and Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.
