Cancer screening in Luton

Improving cancer outcomes for Luton residents is a priority for us all and so it is important that we understand people’s attitudes towards cancer screening.

Evidence suggests that cancers diagnosed through screening tend to be at an earlier stage, result in less invasive treatments and achieve better outcomes.  There are three types of cancer screening for adults in England, and they save thousands of lives each year. Cancer screening rates in our town are below the national and significantly lower than both England and East of England averages, and we need to understand why.

This survey is aimed at everyone above the age of 18 and we would like to hear from you even if you have not yet been invited to take part in a cancer screening programme. You could help by telling us how you feel about cancer screening.

To start and complete a short questionnaire, please click here - it should only take a few minutes.
